Yoga is personal.

We come to yoga for many reasons.  And yoga meets us where we are.

Yes, it's healthy physical activity. But it’s more than that. This ancient discipline aims to unite your body, mind and spirit so that all parts of you are working together for your own good.  In that tradition, we teach “Whole Yoga,” encouraging you to explore mindfulness, self-care, and self-awareness—during classes and in your life.

“Whole yoga” offers you a chance to move, to breathe, to focus, to find some peace, to soothe your soul. We teach with a respectful awareness of yoga principles, honoring the history and evolution of yoga, as well as the ethical and philosophical aspects of the practice.

Not skinny? Not bendy? Not twenty? Not a problem. We encourage you to bring your whole self to yoga—no matter your age, size, shape, gender, fitness or experience level. We're dedicated to offering sound, safe instruction in a way that respects your body and spirit.

Yoga is personal. Your practice will be different from anyone else's. You'll have your own intentions, a unique focus, a particular perspective. Your yoga is your yoga.  And that is as it should be.

This is yoga for the whole you.

We've been invited to be advisors in Yoga Alliance’s process of evaluating its standards and practices.  We’ll be focused on matters of ethics and conduct—as critical a topic in the yoga community as it in the culture at large.

Do you have concerns related to your experience of practicing yoga? Leave us a message; we’ll add your voice to the conversation. Namaste.
